We will be trying something new this month! on Thursday, August 28th, we will be making a Recipe Book ($5.00 after purchasing the album...prices may vary...) And every month we will feature a new recipe to add to the Recipe Book! What'dya think!?

August Project of the Month!

Another month is upon us, which means a new project is here! August features a “colors of summer” themed minibook!  The start of a new school year is just around the corner, and this little guy is a great way to summarize your summer, whether by documenting your favorite summer footwear, clothes, warm-weather eats and treats, or activities, by color.  As always, the Project of the Month is only $5.00 and all the pieces needed to make this minibook are included in the kit, just embellish the pages with personal photos and journaling.   The possibilities are endless!  Make sure to have fun with this one!

This Week at Bella

  Happy Friday everyone!!  I wanted to thank everyone that took the "Pocketbook" class last night. What a nice group of gals to teach. I really enjoyed you all. Thank you for working so hard, sharing with each other, and generally being delightful!! I hope you each had a great time, and love the project you made.
 In other Bella news, we have a crop night scheduled for tomorrow night (Saturday, July,26) It is $10. or free with a $20 Bella purchase. We are having food from Fresh Taste Meals!!  Oh yummy, I can't wait for that!!  Plus we are doing some other FUN things!! So, come join us for a night of scrappin', food,and fun. Just call the store to let us know, so we can save you a spot!! 453-2844.

July 29 Creative Cafe

Finally!! I got it finished!! Here is the easel frame we are making for next week's Creative Cafe. With this project you get to play with grungeboard, and crackle paint!!  Plus all the fun colored chipboard and paper, buttons that we often have for our projects. Here is side one:

Life Is Good Pocket Book

There is still room available for tomorrow's (Thursday, July 24th) class. Here is what we are making!

MIA

Well, it has been awhile since the last post. I guess I have been MIA, but I promise to be better.  ;) 
Here is what we are doing in our Creative Cafe tomorrow. Three super cute cards that you can send for just about anything. One is sort of a tri-fold, but has an insert that pulls out. It also has fun scalloped edging, and a belly-band that is pierced with the Tim Holtz clear ruler. The second is and embossed card. and the third has the scallop with a cute bird stamp. The stamp set we are using is from 7-Gypsies, and has alot for card makers and scrapbookers alike.

I hope you can stop by,say hi, and enjoy some cool air for awhile. The price tomorrow is just $4.95 for all three cards, which includes everything you need. I would love to see you!!

Hi again!! I hope everyone is having a great week! I know I have been having fun this week looking at all the CHA summer sneak peeks.  They are all over the internet, if you want to know where to look, just stop by and I'll give you some ideas!!  Cosmo Cricket always has fun videos!!
Anyway, here is the project we are making next week for Creative Cafe. It is a fun little welcome sign. I am going to put mine on a wreath, but you could also hang it in your scrap room. (For those of you that are that lucky!)

July Blog Challenge

Hi everyone, I hope you had an awesome 4th of July weekend. I know I sure did!!
We did not have a June blog challenge, so I thought I would make the July challenge super fun!! The challenge is to use some stamping on a layout. It can be one or two pages,any size. The stamps must come from Bella, but beside that, no other rules!!!  Be creative, have fun with it.  Here is the good part..... When you bring your pages in to enter the drawing, I will give you 20% off anything stamp related!!!  That means stamp sets, inks, or blocks. PLUS, you will be entered to win an entire set of Whispers ink pads!!!  That is a $64.99 retail value. They look like this...
Just a FYI, this is NOT a contest!! When you bring an entry to the store, I ask you to give me your name and a phone number where I can reach you or leave a message. We put the entries into a container and draw a name. I would never judge anyone's work. Many of you create pages far better than any I could do.  :0)

Foldout Minibook

Here is the project for next week's Creative Cafe!!  It is a happy little minibook with two fold-outs for pictures and embellishments. All tied together with fun ribbon.
